I thought that the works of the past years deserved to be shown in a slightly larger series including the completed hotel photos, advertising and portrait projects . One of the biggest hotel photos of 2021 was clearly the preparation of the official photo material of the Grand Hotel Esztergom.
Located in the heart of Esztergom, the 4-star superior hotel has 30,000 square meters, 8 levels (3 underground garages, ground floor, 4 floors) with 149 rooms, conference, wellness and 700 square meters of interactive recreation space available to guests. The interesting thing about the building is that due to its wavy lines, no two rooms are the same.
The works already started in 2019, but from the point of view of hotel photography, the really spectacular part had to wait until February 2021, when the first sample room was completed and the events started to pick up.
We didn't have to wait long for the official launch. The hotel opened its doors mid-June. The panoramic rooms with a view of the Basilica, the beautiful interior design solutions and varied spaces demanded thorough photography adapted to the time of day. After 14-16 days of photography and many post-production days, I felt that I managed to present all the elements of the hotel in a worthy way.
